Important multinational is currently looking for a Country Manager for Tripoli, Libya.
Functions:
- The candidate's mission will be to set up and manage the Libyan office paying particular attention to strategy and implementation plans, people management and the overall sales function of the operation.
- - Full responsibility of the P&L of the local office, maximizing operation efficiency.
- - Define and ensure implementation of the Commercial and Marketing strategy for the markets under responsibility including brand adherence, image, systems and marketing communication.
- - Initiate strategic customer relationship and manage commercial negotiations with potential partners and key customers.
- - Tailor and execute marketing efforts to public sector, corporate customers and channels in the area.
- - Enhance company’s corporate image, influence policy and prioritize opportunities and investments in the area.
- - Lead sales team to systematically respond to and resolve customer and partner issues.
- - Assist to determine appropriate resource levels.
- - Recruit and Manage staff: create a highly motivated and extremely effective organization, identify and plan training, coach on an individual and team basis, motivate existing staff and recruit and select staff to match identified competencies and needs.

Develop the Country Business Plan and a rolling 3 year plan,

Assist in recruitment of the other staff,

Submit monthly reports to Headquarters on sales performance and tracking/evaluation of the market activities,

Liaise with Headquarters on marketing activities,
*
Manage the approved budget and develop business relationship with the distributor, dealers and the trade channels,
*
Increase market share in each channel and maximize the company market penetration and coverage,
*
Develop marketing programs to support our channel partners and implement promotion programs in all channels,
*
Effectively manage channel partners’ sales team in terms of training and increasing their effectiveness as salesmen,

Assist our distributor in direct negotiations with the retailers and identify key dealers and develop stronger working relationship.
The candidates should have experience in paper or paper related product. Graduated from Government University would be a plus.
