Algorithm

 Définitions

Voici des définitions figurant dans notre dictionnaire :

Exemple : "Si...

SEO Copywriting Tools and Resources(, 2008-11-15)

When it comes to SEO copywriting, it is important to understand SEO basics such as the effect of headings, bold characters, anchor text and various SEO techniques but as search engines keep improving their algorithm, keyword research, semantics and style have become more important than ever for the SEO professional. Online competition is now so strong [...]

25 Link Building Strategies to Increase Page Rank(, 2008-10-16)

Anyone involve in the Internet marketing industry would tell you that link building is very important to the success of a website in search engines since it is directly impacting Page Rank, a core feature of the Google algorithm. Although there are many other factors involved in the search engine ranking equation, taking advantage of [...]

Can computers sort data like humans'(, 2008-08-30)

According to U.S. researchers, it is possible to train computers to discover trends and order in large datasets like we do since our childhood. The new algorithm, which was developed at the MIT, may impact the field of artificial intelligence. This model can help computers recognize patterns like we do. 'Instead of looking for a particular kind of structure, we came up with a broader algorithm that is able to look for all of these structures and weigh them against each other,' said one of the scientists. Besides helping scientists to analyze large amounts of data, this algorithm could also be used to discover how the human brain finds patterns. But read more...

New algorithm speeds up networks(, 2008-08-19)

Routing scalability has always been a problem in networking research. Now, computer scientists at UC San Diego (UCSD) have developed a new algorithm to improve the routing efficiency of networks. 'Called XL, for approximate link state, the algorithm increases network routing efficiency by suppressing updates from parts of the system -- updates which force connected networks to continuously re-calculate the paths they use in the great matrix of the Internet.' The results presented today at the ACM SIGCOMM Conference show that XL outperforms standard algorithms, in some cases reducing the number of routing messages ten-fold. But read more...
