This is an exciting opportunity to provide financial administration support to the Burkina Office. Working closely with Burkina Faso team and other colleagues in Mali, Senegal and London, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate recording and monitoring of finances and financial administration work at the country office level, including the effective implementation any relevant institutional donor (especially European Commission) programme, and to provide capacity building support to Burkinabe partners on financial accounting and management.
You will be required to travel up to two months at the field level to monitor the financial management of projects supported by Christian Aid, you will assist in the financial and grant administration, ensure compilation of institutional donor consolidated financial reports and maintain financial systems that enable Christian Aid to effectively monitor the use of the institutional donor funds and Christian Aid’s budget on the field.
